Filing for Legal Separation in County Court

Can I file for legal separation in county court? I’ve been married 20 years..haven’t been together for 2 years he is living in my home, we have a 19 yr old son who is the reason he was allowed to stay in residence

You will have to file in Supreme Court, not County Court. You should consult with an attorney to discuss whether you wish to pursue a separation or a divorce. You can file for either, but you should know what your rights and responsibilities are going to be depending on what you pursue.
