New York Uncontested Divorce and Separation Agreement

Our Separation Agreement and Divorce Option is for clients who wish to obtain a divorce, and they have not done any of the work necessary to start the process. In other words, they do not have a agreement (separation agreement). Prior to obtaining a judgment of divorce, we must prepare a legally binding agreement under New York law. That agreement can be called an opting out agreement, a settlement agreement, or a separation agreement. By using those terms we are referring to the same agreement each time we speak about it. In addition to that agreement, we must prepare the documents necessary to obtain a judgment of divorce.

The cost for this option is two-fold; the first cost is a one-time flat fee $630 disbursement and filing fee expense. That fee covers all the filing fees and disbursements that we must pay to obtain your judgment of divorce. It includes an index number, certificate of dissolution, service of process, photocopying, postage, and any other expense that we might incur while undertaking your work.
The legal fee is either $795 if you do not have children or $895 if you do have children.
How do you begin this process?
Simply fill out the basic information below. That will take you to the payment page. Once you pay your fee, our New York Divorce Lawyers will contact you. We start the process by outlining all the issues that need to be addressed to prepare your agreement.
Requirements: You and your spouse would like to obtain a divorce, but you do not have a formal written New York State Separation or Settlement Agreement.
To obtain an uncontested divorce online, you will need a Separation or Settlement Agreement that outlines all of your family issues, including the division of property, child custody, child support, and spousal support.
This option applies to you if you do not have a Separation or Settlement Agreement. You and your spouse must have discussed and agreed upon the terms that you will include in your Separation Agreement.
Only one spouse can retain our firm. The spouse retaining our office will complete our online forms.
Our New York Divorce Lawyers will prepare a formal written Separation or Settlement Agreement that complies with New York law. We will then prepare all of the papers necessary to finalize your Divorce, which will include a Judgment of Divorce that incorporates all of the terms of your Separation Agreement.
This option does not include any negotiation by our office attorneys to finalize your Agreement.
Payment Options
Payment can be made for our services either by credit card or check online. You may also make arrangements to pay via mail by check, or by telephoning our offices to make arrangements for payment by credit card directly through our office. Services cannot be rendered prior to the receipt of payment.
